Olivier Heim

Olivier Heim is an award-winning Dutch songwriter and performer born in the United States, raised in Luxemburg and currently living in Warsaw, Poland. Following his success in the international trio Très.b and his recordings under the moniker Anthony Chorale, Olivier now releases A Different Life under his own name. Wrapped by reliable musicians, in this new record Heim combines woozy guitars and cosmic synthesizers with punchy bass-lines and dreamlike, hazy vocal melodies – sounds coming from other times that, as if by spell, fit surprisingly well in today’s world. A record with which Olivier Heim takes us in his journey, moving from place to place, drifting through memories of relationships and friendships past and present.

Olivier Heim es un galardonado músico holandés nacido en los Estados Unidos, criado en Luxemburgo y actualmente afincado en Varsovia (Polonia). Tras su éxito en el trio Très.b y sus discos bajo el alias Anthony Chorale, Olivier lanza ahora bajo su propio nombre A Different Life. Arropado por sus músicos de confianza, en este disco Heim combina guitarras aletargadas y sintetizadores etéreos con contundentes líneas de bajo y melodías vocales tan ensoñadoras como difusas, sonidos provenientes de otras épocas que, casi por encantamiento, encajan sin chirridos en el mundo actual.
